They are creating a permanent coordination mechanism to counter smuggling. This was announced by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov before the start of the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.
„This morning, together with the services, we discussed the issue of prevention and counteraction to smuggling at a meeting in the Council of Ministers. The goal is to have permanent control, counteraction and prevention of smuggling“, he pointed out.
„The topic of the war on the roads continues to be relevant. The actions will not be spontaneous, but permanent. I have ordered Minister Daniel Mitov to optimally plan all resources now, taking into account the upcoming holidays and the increase in traffic," the Prime Minister said.
He demanded full control of the road. "People must travel safely. This includes transit traffic, which is the responsibility of both Minister Ivanov and Minister Karadzhov," he added.
“What I have ordered - for full interoperability of systems - must lead to the integration of information arrays in order to have a systematic approach to control. We will not allow political intentions to turn into expert considerations,“ Zhelyazkov was categorical.
