Until five months ago, I thought that law prevails over politics. Now I see that compromises are needed in many cases. Back then, I also told myself that there is no way that there is no way. I thought that people could sit down and come to an agreement, but with this serious fragmentation in the National Assembly, this is difficult. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Assoc. Prof. Natalia Kiselova, in the program “From the Day“ on BNT.

The vote of no confidence is the strongest weapon of the opposition and it is used as a last resort. Usually, the means of parliamentary democracy are used. There has not been a case in which the government was not given 100 days of tolerance. This behavior was also visible during the adoption of the state budget. To ask for votes of no confidence for things that happened in previous formations of this government is an attempt to destabilize the National Assembly and prevent it from working, she explained.

The correct approach is when there is a need for the minister to be heard in a committee, and in a more serious case - in a plenary hall, explained Assoc. Prof. Kiselova on the case of the Plovdiv police officers. What do you expect to hear from officials when there is a pre-trial proceeding?, the Speaker of the National Assembly pointed out.

Currently, there are two alternatives - this complex configuration, and on the other side are the anti-system configurations. Of course, the emotional decision of the colleagues from the APS is worrying, but I think they will reconsider it. We knew from the very beginning that it would be difficult for the three parties, summarized Assoc. Prof. Kiselova on the occasion of today's unsuccessful vote of no confidence.

My aspiration is for each parliamentary group to see its own proposal on the agenda, not for the so-called parliamentary majority to be imposed, because everyone represents a part of society. My wish is for us to start working normally, she emphasized.
