The case against PP-DB MP Lena Borislavova will be heard administratively, since the maximum penalty she can receive for what she is accused of is 2 years in prison.

However, when the defendant has a clean criminal record, this sanction is replaced by a fine, explained the Sofia District Court, where the injunction hearing was held.

Another mitigating circumstance is that the act did not result in property damage.

Lena Borislavova went to court after waiving her immunity. She was asked to do so in connection with an investigation into whether, on May 13 and 14, 2021, she presented false documents to an official from the Registry Agency in order to have Kiril Petkov deregistered from the "Let's Save Coral" Association, recalls "24 Chasa".
