One person died in a serious accident tonight between the villages of Lokorsko and Voynegovtsi near Sofia, the Ministry of Interior announced.
The accident occurred at around 3:05 a.m. when two cars collided, and one of them went off the road and fell into a ravine. The driver of this car died on the spot, the Ministry of Interior told BTA. The other car was hit by a passing heavy truck, but no one was injured in the secondary collision.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, there are no other victims in the accident.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, a total of 23 serious road accidents have been registered in the country over the past 24 hours. The department did not provide additional details about the remaining incidents.
