To a large extent, the exit of the MRF – MRF from the ruling majority was expected. This was stated in the program “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” on NOVA NEWS by sociologist Kolyo Kolev.
“Ahmed Dogan was accepted or in some way used as a form of “fig leaf”. A visible majority was created through him, while at the same time his formation was not allowed to hold governing positions. The reason is very simple, because on the other side stands “MPS - New Beginning”, which has its 29 deputies and is more valuable to the ruling party than the 19 deputies of the MRF – DPS”, added Kolev.
„Dogan's supporters had no particular choice. They hoped that they could somehow join the ruling coalition, minimizing Peevski's influence”, the sociologist explained.
„They are not as far away as we think. Radev will look for a less prominent political figure to hand over the post. Someone like Yanaki Stoilov, Krum Zarkov, Daniel Valchev. People who are not active in the political leadership”, he believes.
According to him, the action in the palaces had no political meaning. According to him, there is no opportunity for normal dialogue in parliament.
