The last property that prevented the completion of the breakthrough on the capital's "Todor Kableshkov" Boulevard ; is facing expropriation. After three years of negotiations, the municipality and the owner of the property managed to reach an agreement.

The decision is to be voted on at the first session of the Metropolitan Municipal Council after the vacation, specifies BNT. Thus, the boulevard will be able to be completed in full and on time.

The owner of the showroom, Rozalin Stanchev, has been asking for a replacement for 3 years, and not, as the municipality insisted, monetary compensation. That's why Rosalin's property was the last and the asphalt literally reached his parking lot.

"They just adopted one way of working and they don't make exceptions and decided that they will give people some money. And the very first proposal we gave them was the two neighboring places, which are adequate for the square footage of this place, so that it can continue to have a parking lot, because the building is losing its functionality," explained Stanchev.

The proposed amount is BGN 130,000.

"Just moving the parking lot, the paving stones and everything necessary will cost me 100,000", Stanchev pointed out.

The new management of Sofia is inclined to a different decision. Thus, the case has been resolved and the parking lot of the showroom is now moving next door.

The decision on the replacement will be voted on by the Metropolitan Municipal Council at the first session in September, which means that the new boulevard will be opened for traffic at the beginning of October.

The car wash cafe next door has also been prepared for demolition, and the building is still located on the route of "Todor Kableshkov" blvd., because the owner has decided to work until the issue with the showroom is resolved.
