Two Bulgarian women who tried to import cocaine into Turkey received 4 years in prison each  - 1

Two Bulgarians have been convicted of smuggling 3,920 kg of cocaine worth 643,256 leva, the press center of the District Court in Haskovo announced, dariknews.bg reported.

They received 4 years in prison with an initial general regime and a fine of 50,000 leva.

The women pleaded guilty to the fact that on 07.08.2024 at the border checkpoint “Kapitan Andreevo“, in complicity with unidentified persons as instigators and helpers, attempted to import the drug into Turkey.

The court deducted the time during which the two defendants were actually detained.
