Part of the house of the writer Dimitar Talev in Prilep, North Macedonia, has been demolished. The news was announced by Viktor Stoyanov from the "Macedonia“ Foundation, reported plovdiv24.bg.
The collapsed building can be seen in a photo posted on Facebook by Stoyanov.
"While we are waiting for Talev's house to be bought in Prilep, the NSA (National Security Agency) through a local vandal has already demolished it. Don't wait for justice“, he wrote.
For years, the writer's house, described in the novel "The Iron Lighthouse", has been falling apart, and Talev's heirs have repeatedly called on Bulgaria to buy it back and turn it into a museum.
