The artist Dimitar Kasabov has died, the Union of Bulgarian Artists announced, Focus reported.
He was born in Shumen. He graduated from the Art High School in Sofia in 1973. In 1981 he graduated from the Academy of Arts with a major in "Mural".
Studies under professors Mito Ganovski and Dimo Zaimov. Already after graduation, he began to actively apply his specialty and has many realizations, especially in the city of Pleven, in various techniques – mosaic, metal plastic, sgraffito, etc.
He left in 1989 for the United States and worked there for many years – there are realized large objects, mainly mosaic; also presents painting exhibitions.
He returned after more than twenty years and settled in Bulgaria.
