Actress Monica Bellucci received the award of the Association to the foreign press in Italy for overall achievements, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
59-year-old Bellucci, who became famous for her roles in "The Matrix" and "Spectre", received the "Globo d'Oro" (Italian "Golden Globe") at a ceremony in Rome more than a quarter of a century after receiving its first "Globo d'Oro" for Best Actress in 1998 in L'ultimo capodanno ("The Last New Year's Eve").
At the ceremony in Villa Massimo Bellucci, she was accompanied by her partner - the American director Tim Burton.
The "Globo d'Oro" for best film was awarded to the Italian director Paola Cortelesi for "There is still tomorrow”. Best documentary is "Ode to Naples" of Trudy Styler, wife of the British artist Sting.
The "Globo d"Oro" awards are awarded by the Association of the Foreign Press in Italy for the 64th time.
