I am most afraid that our life is becoming more and more primitive, said Stefan Tsanev last night in Varna, who presented his book “ "Heavenly point of view", BTA reported.

His meeting with the audience in the seaside city took place at the Art Salon of Radio Varna and was part of the Book Alley program.

A society without culture is dead, the artist pointed out. I am already old enough when you ask yourself the question “And what was it all about?”, Tsanev also said and added that this is actually the most terrible question when a person asks himself why it was necessary to be born, to study , to work. He pointed out that time is not measured in days and years, but in events, and we should be aware of that. The creator also commented that he is friends with young poets and thinks that they are unfairly neglected.

About his book, Tsanev explained that it contains poems that he wrote in the current century, as well as several older ones that he hopes are still alive. About “Heavenly View“ he himself writes that if the poet is read and remembered, he is alive, otherwise he is dead. According to him, art is a resistance to death, and the book is full of questions that people, stuck in the swamp of existence, prefer not to ask themselves.
