A long queue for autographs forms on the capital's boulevard "Vitosha", reported BNT.
The reason for it - the meeting with the writer Georgi Gospodinov and his latest book "The Gardener and Death". Nearly 300 people, among them mostly young people, waited patiently to leave with a dedication and a souvenir photo with the holder of the "Booker" from "The Alley of the Book".
"The Gardener and Death" it went out of print at the end of August, and this evening it was presented for the first time in Sofia after the premiere of "Apollonia". Georgi Gospodinov himself defines it as a story about departing fathers in a departing world.
"This is a book about all losses. For everyone who has such a loss and sooner or later there will be. And as the main character constantly repeats: it's okay!".
What should be the gardens that grow in our souls?
"For me, these are gardens of stories. Everyone has their own garden - an invisible garden, a personal garden, and everyone must "dig" it, as Voltaire tells us, cultivate our gardens. Everyone has such a garden. This is salvation!", said Georgi Gospodinov.
