We honor the memory of the Patriarch of Bulgarian literature. Today marks the 103rd anniversary of Ivan Vazov's death.
Vazov's heart stopped beating at his home in Sofia in 1921. For four days, the worship before the poet, writer, playwright, statesman and great Bulgarian continues in the church of “St. Sunday“. He was buried on September 28, 1921.
The National Literary Museum organized a pilgrimage in memory of Ivan Vazov 103 years after his death. It will be attended by representatives of state, scientific and cultural institutions in the country, writers, as well as heirs of the Vaz family.
The house museum “Ivan Vazov” in Sofia has free entry for everyone who wants to experience the atmosphere of the last Vazov House and remember it.
