The documentary film “FREE , FREEER, DIMITAR“, dedicated to Dimitar Elenov is part of the selection of the 10th anniversary edition of the International Cinema-Literary Festival CINELIBRI, which will be held this year from 10.10 to 3.11 under the motto “Poetry without end“.< /strong>
“DIMITAR ELENOV Foundation“ and BNT are producers of the tape presenting the image of the great Bulgarian actor and director and theater teacher DIMITAR ELENOV. The author of the film is Rozita Elenova. She is in the role of director and works in a team with screenwriter Irena Daskalova, cinematographer Plamen Mateev, editor Dimitar Andreev, and the music is by jazzman Kristiyan Zhelev.
The film is a mosaic from the film archive of the Bulgarian National Television and the shared personal stories of Elenov's colleagues, friends and followers. This mosaic gradually acquires a finished look, and from it emerges the image of a person who is charismatic in his extremity, dedicated and talented.
The work is a kind of puzzle in which the viewer, arranging the pieces of the image of the creator, becomes an author himself, inspired and inspired enough to love art and start creating himself. The tape collects the revelations of the stars of the Bulgarian theater – Vladimir Penev, Svetlana Yancheva, Dimitar Rachkov, Delyana Hadjiyankova, Yoanna Temelkova, Stefania Koleva, Asen Blatechki, Violeta Markovska and many others. 40 personalities stand in front of Rozita Elenova's camera. Some of them have not communicated with Elenov, but have memories of him as a charismatic actor. Others are his students over the years, today with different professions, but with a clear awareness of the direction that was set by a bright and rarely seen person with a definite life philosophy, such as Elenov.
Rozita Elenova claims that in the film we will see her Dimitar – the freest person she had ever met. But everyone will be able to arrange their own personal puzzle of the creator's personality.
