One of Borisov's problems are that there are few politicians of his caliber left who can be understood. And a classical party of the old type remained only GERB – the others either disintegrated like the SDF, the BSP and the DPS, or were replaced by the so-called “engineering projects”. However, as a tired and lonely dragon from the tsarist times, Borisov tries to find some solution to the political madness in Bulgaria.

This is written by Ivan Stambolov – Sula in a comment for Tribune.bg.

During the week, he proposed what has since become the term “gentlemen's agreement”,

which is certainly undeniable in its main message – that the situation in our country has become such that if all political forces and leaders do not wake up, remember and take matters into their own hands, we will spend a hundred million in a few months, and the state will slip and work will be done, only as long as he doesn't die completely.

Gentlemen's agreement consists of two points: to change in some way, no matter what, as long as it is beneficial for everyone, the electoral rules and to make preliminary commitments about who is ready to coalition with whom and with whom is not Asked how he would answer the second question, Borisov said that he was ready to negotiate with anyone from the former assembly, plus BSP and ITN. That is, he will not negotiate with Vazrazhdane. And he would not negotiate with Vazrazhdane, because he would meet with disapproval from his Euro-Atlantic partners, for no other reason.

As for the change in the electoral rules, at least I have been saying this for a long time and I think it is close to the mind, because without such a change no one will gain enough legitimacy to rule like the people and bear the responsibility of the management.

However, as soon as they were mentioned, BSP and ITN jumped in and said that she would not be.

„The BSP will no longer follow the events, it will not fall into the trap of these pre-election fishing rods” (the fishing line trap is very cool), said Atanas Zafirov – the new head of the BSP, and Stanislav Trifonov wrote on Facebook: “Any statements by any political leaders about forming a coalition after the elections are absolute improvisation and only the people who say these things can be held responsible for that… I think I am unquestionably clear and I advise all journalists and political scientists to pay attention to my words, because I, unlike many other public figures, always keep my word!“. At first glance, these formations retreated as if stung for no reason, but they clearly realized that what Borisov proposed was not in the interest of the tiny parties, as they are both at the moment. Also, from where to where will he tell them who to ally with? They will ally with whoever they want and whoever works for them! Borisov seemed to be in a hurry, especially with regard to the BSP – at the very least, how will they get along if the issue of the Istanbul Convention or something like that comes up again. See, with ITNs it's easy, they're like a stem cell – can fit into any fabric. Well, Stanislav Trifonov is beating his chest again that he does everything he says, but poor Macedonia is left without a cosmonaut, isn't it?

The weak spot in Borisov's proposal is the positive assessment of the Assembly and the willingness to repeat it in the same and even in an expanded composition.

And the biggest problem there is PPDB. What does this mechapore consist of (you know the joke, I won't tell you again)? “The Change” they are not a problem. They're sort of like a puddle that will take the shape of any hole it spills into as long as there's a trickle and good posts for the leaders. With them, the only problem is the mental integrity of Kiril Petkov, but if he disappears and stops nagging about nonsense with whoever he likes, they will become a quite decent chameleon. I wonder if DSB is worth mentioning at all. Their horizon has been concretized only on the final chords of General Atanas's political career, on how he will retire. See, “Yes, Bulgaria!“ are a problem for anyone who wants to pass for right-wing and conservative, as Boyko Borisov wants. “Yes, Bulgaria!“ are the new Bulgarian left of the Marcusian type and the BSP's main competitor in the left space (whatever else they say to confuse people's heads), hence the problems of Stoletnitsa, apart from the unforgettable leadership of Kornelia Ninova. In recent years, excluding the solid electoral core, many people voted for GERB because they are not so much FOR them as AGAINST the “Change”, seeing in it a new and unknown political disaster for our country.

By saying that he is satisfied with the Assembly and that he would repeat it, Borisov risks alienating precisely those voters who are AGAINST the “Change”. But otherwise his proposal is quite reasonable, not to say – the only reasonable suggestion possible. As much as Radev would like until the end of the second and absolutely undeserved gift from the “rights” forces mandate, the political situation in the country being as we have it, this is not good for anyone, not even for him. Therefore, the parties should sit down and figure out what they are doing to have a legitimate and responsible government, if you will even just for the sake of fraud. Because other work will be done in addition to the fraud. At the moment, the parliamentary-party system itself is under threat. The parties must have some, however stunted, instinct for self-preservation, some residual intelligence to see to their own survival.

And because today I have decided to be meek and positive, wise and well-meaning, I will say nothing about Carthage, but you know that it must be destroyed.
