Former head of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Asa Hutchinson blew up with the news that the US has information about Russian fuel smuggling through the private Burgas port "Europe", see Narod.bg.
It is no secret that the port “Europe” is owned by Nikolay Filipov Filipov, known in the underground as Nicky Mitnickarya or Nicky Quail.
The disclosure of such news by a high-ranking politician from the US Republican Party like Asa Hutchinson does not bode well.
In an interview with “24 Chasa“ the former governor of Arkansas from 2015 to 2023 said the following verbatim:
“As you know, the last two lists of sanctions imposed by the US are related to money laundering because of the so-called shadow fleet of Russia. And people, ships and companies involved in smuggling Russian fuel were sanctioned. For Bulgaria, we have information that smuggling of Russian fuel was carried out through “Port Europe” in Burgas. In order to start an effective fight against money laundering, it is necessary for your services such as the State Anti-Money Laundering Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to work professionally“. End of quote….
The author of the scandalous news about the smuggling of Russian fuel through the port of Niki the Quail is not accidental. In 1982, Asa Hutchinson was appointed by President Ronald Reagan as the Attorney General of Arkansas.
In 1996, he entered the US Congress as a state representative.
In 2001, President George W. Bush appointed him as the head of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and in 2003 he became Deputy Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
In 2024, Hutchinson was a candidate in the Republican primary elections for president, but withdrew after a heavy loss in Iowa.
Since the American explicitly mentions the port of “Europe“, the problem is clearly serious, a source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Narod.bg.
We recall that last May there was a special operation in the port of “Europe“ in the line of smuggling, which ended with four arrests. Then the owner Nikolay Filipov announced to the website Mediamall.info that no smuggled Russian fuels had passed through his port and that everything was an insinuation, behind which stood a senior Burgas police officer.
And he made the following scandalous confession: “…who owes me a lot of money because I built him a house in one of the Burgas neighborhoods“. That is, a confession that he gave a huge sum to a boss in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Our inspection showed that Niki Mitnicharya has diverse business interests with participation in 59 companies, in which he is the sole owner of the capital, partner, actual owner, manager, representative, member of the board of directors or member of the management board.
