The Polish Ministry of Defense announced that Ukraine can use the weapons transferred from Warsaw weapons on Russian territory, reports "Ukrainskaya Pravda” and Focus, referring to Poland's Deputy Defense Minister Cesary Tomczyk.
In response to the question of whether Polish military equipment transferred to Ukraine could be used on Russian territory, Tomczyk noted that Ukrainians "can fight as they want”.
"We decided to help Ukraine in the conflict, Ukraine was subjected to a brutal attack, so it has the right to defend itself as it sees fit,”, Tomczyk emphasized.
"Poland does not apply restrictions when it comes to the use of Polish weapons by Ukrainians,”, he added.
According to him, Western countries should also remove restrictions on the use of weapons on Russian territory, if any.
Tomczyk said that Poland has already transferred 44 aid shipments to Ukraine and is preparing the 45th. "In total, these are donations of 15-20 billion zlotys,” said the deputy minister.
Discussions have recently intensified among Ukraine's Western partners to ease restrictions on Ukrainian forces striking Russia with Western weapons.
