Russian President Vladimir Putin is committed to help improve the situation in the Balkans. He emphasized Russia's steadfast position regarding the Dayton Agreements during talks with Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, TASS reported.

Putin drew attention to the importance of the Dayton Agreement, saying that the powers outlined in these international legal documents are crucial not only to preserve the current situation, but also to improve and strengthen it. He assured that Russia will actively assist this cause in every possible way.

During the meeting between the two, Putin expressed his satisfaction with Dodik's participation in the international economic forum in St. Petersburg. He pointed out that although the commercial and economic activity in the region is still modest, this year there is a tangible improvement and recovery compared to the last, which he assesses positively.
The President of Russia also expressed his gratitude to President Dodik for his contribution in the spiritual sphere and his efforts to maintain relations through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Russia has demonstrated its commitment to support the Balkans and adhere to the principles of the Dayton Accords, with an emphasis on promoting economic development and strengthening diplomatic and spiritual ties.
