Chinese President Xi Jinping made an important state visit to Kazakhstan, marking a key moment in China's diplomatic pressure in Central Asia. Upon his arrival, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassam-Jomart Tokayev, greeted him, indicating the importance of his visit. It should be noted that when Xi's plane entered Kazakhstan, it was escorted by two Kazakh fighter jets, a sign of the high esteem in which he is held, BTA reports.

During his visit, Xi Jinping stressed the importance of mutual respect, good neighborliness, solidarity in difficult times and mutual benefit. These four principles, he said, are critical to the continued growth and stability of China-Kazakhstan relations. In an article published in Kazakh media, Xi expressed his hopes for rejuvenating their traditional friendship and strengthening comprehensive cooperation.

Xi's visit is not only about renewing old ties, but also about planning for the future. He and President Tokayev seek to elevate the comprehensive strategic partnership between their nations to new heights, focusing on mutual support and benefit and responding to global changes.

This trip, Xi's fifth to Kazakhstan, includes participation in the 24th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana. Xi will then continue his diplomatic tour with a state visit to Tajikistan. Accompanied by key figures such as Foreign Minister Wang Yi and CCP official Tsai Chi, Xi's visit underscores the importance of these diplomatic efforts. The SCO, which includes countries such as India, China, Russia and now Iran, represents a significant portion of the world's population.

This year, Belarus is due to join the organization, further expanding its influence. Xi Jinping's visit to Kazakhstan is a clear indication of China's intention to strengthen ties and cooperation with Central Asia, highlighting the strategic importance of the region in global diplomacy.
