Russian artillery units have successfully targeted and destroyed American M1 Abrams tank in Ukraine. The operation was conducted in the Avdeevka region, demonstrating the precision and effectiveness of the capabilities of the Russian army, Focus reports.
The Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by RIA Novosti, emphasized the use of guided munitions "Krasnopol" for this operation. The gunners from group of troops “Center“ struck with remarkable accuracy, eliminating the “Abrams“ tank. The operation involved a 152-mm self-propelled artillery installation, known as the 2C19 "Msta-C", which took a hidden firing position to carry out the attack. The tank's coordinates were provided by the crew of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which allowed Russian servicemen to precisely target and hit the tank with a guided munition.
After the successful strike, the Russian artillery unit quickly moved to a new firing position. The swift actions demonstrate the tactical effectiveness and mobility of Russian forces in the field.
