Norway has announced its decision to donate six F-16 aircraft to Ukraine, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Støre said during the NATO summit in Washington, the Norwegian daily “Verdens Gang” reported, Reuters and BTA.
Delivery of these combat-ready aircraft is due in 2024.
Norway is showing solidarity with Ukraine by providing much-needed military support amid the ongoing conflict.
"Norway has decided to transfer six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine on a free basis. We plan to start deliveries in 2024.", quoted by BTA.
