At least 20 miners have been killed in an attack by gunmen on a small private coal mine in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province , the police said, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
"A group of gunmen attacked the Junaid Coal Company mine in the Duki area in the early hours using heavy weapons,” said Humayun Khan, police chief of the town east of Quetta. They fired rockets and grenades at the mine, he added.
"So far, we have received 20 bodies and six injured in the Duki district hospital,” said Johar Khan Shadizai, a doctor in Duki.
