Russia attacked the territory of Ukraine tonight with 68 drones and four missiles, the Ukrainian Air Force said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA writes.
Two Iskander-M ballistic missiles hit Poltava and Odesa regions, and two Kh-59 aviation missiles were fired at Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Ukrainian Air Force said in the Telegram communication application.
Ukrainian air defense forces reportedly destroyed 31 of the drones, while 36 drones are unaccounted for, and are believed to have most likely been intercepted by Ukrainian electronic warfare forces.
One drone is still in the air, the Ukrainian forces also said.
Thirty-one Russian drones were shot down over Kiev, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy and Cherkasy regions, Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported.
