In its new ranking, US News and World Report presents the most powerful military forces in the world, looking at global power players in terms of their armed forces, reports Focus.
First in the ranking is the Russian military, followed by the United States, known for its powerful military and advanced technology.
Third place goes to Israel.
Ukraine ranks eighth, reflecting its ongoing challenges and resilience. The ranking also includes a diverse group of countries, including China, South Korea, Iran, the UK, Germany and Turkey, each recognized for their unique strengths and contributions to global military capabilities.
The magazine does not rely only on the opinions of military experts or political analysts. Instead, it broadens its scope to include insights from a wide range of participants — from elite members of society to representatives of business circles and the general public.
