At least 70 Palestinians have died in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip as a result of the strikes of the Israeli army on the blockaded enclave, reported Al Jazeera.

Over the past 24 hours, 70 people have fallen victim to the aggression, 45 of whom are residents of the northern regions. Information on the number of injured is not reported.

The TV channel earlier reported 37 deaths in the region, noting that 25 of them were killed in the north.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip, a total of 43,400 Palestinians have become victims of the escalation of the conflict in the enclave since October 2023, and 102,300 have been injured.

At least one person was killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.

The incident occurred at night as a result of an Israeli drone attack in the southern city of Harris. Air Force fighters are also said to have bombed a mosque there.

Several attacks were carried out on the city of Al-Khiyam. In addition, planes struck the populated areas of Shrifa and Deir Kifa near the city of Tyre.

Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that on Monday Israeli strikes in the country killed 16 and wounded 90 people. The total death toll since October 2023 has reached 3,002, with another 13,492 people injured.

Armed Shiite militias belonging to the Islamic Resistance of Iraq attacked a “vital target” in the port city of Haifa in northern Israel, the organization said on its Telegram channel.
