US President Donald Trump has vowed to impose tariffs on the EU and said his administration is considering imposing a 10% tariff on goods imported from China from February 1.
According to him, fentanyl is shipped from China to Mexico and Canada, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The president told reporters at the White House that he had already imposed large tariffs on China during his first term. He added that the EU and other countries also have a disturbing trade imbalance with the US.
"The European Union is very, very bad for us", Trump said, repeating what he said on Monday. "So it will be subject to tariffs soon. This is the only way... there will be justice," the US president added.
