Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced the upcoming expulsion of foreign instructors who are working to destabilize the situation in the country.

“I remind all people in Slovakia who have the desire, let them protest and shout as much as they want, but please do not be fooled into committing atrocities that are being prepared by the opposition, non-governmental organizations funded from abroad, most of the Slovak media and well-paid instructors who are in Slovakia and whose expulsion we are preparing in the coming days“, Fico told reporters.

On Friday, anti-government rallies were held in more than 20 cities in Slovakia under the slogan "Slovakia is Europe". Their main organizers were from a pro-Ukrainian public organization. In Bratislava, according to local media, citing the organizers, 35-40 thousand people took to the streets.

The Prime Minister of Slovakia emphasized that the activists of this organization are connected with foreign experts who participated in the events in Georgia and the Maidan in Ukraine. He noted that during the protests, the discontented may try to enter state buildings or occupy them in order to interfere in the work of state bodies with the aim of overthrowing the current government.

The activists, in turn, stated that they had no such plans, insisting that they only wanted to peacefully express their disagreement with the policies of the Fico government.
