The court found Tver resident Salokhiddin Ashurov guilty on 14 charges for fictitiously registering the brothers Aminchon and Dilovar Islomov, accused in the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall, at his home, RIA Novosti reported, citing a court decision..

According to court documents, Ashurov "was found guilty of committing 14 episodes of fictitious registration of citizens of the Russian Federation by place of residence in residential premises in the Russian Federation".

According to a RIA Novosti source, Dilovar owned the Renault Symbol, in which the terrorists fled the scene of the crime, but was detained in the Bryansk region. He sold the car in February, but the third-party liability insurance for it was never renewed.

Both Islomov brothers are Russian citizens, they lived in Tver and worked as taxi drivers. Isroil Islomov, as a citizen of Tajikistan, had a residence permit in Russia. Neither brother is considered guilty.

They were initially charged under an article on committing a terrorist act, but in September last year they were charged under Part 3 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (aiding and abetting a terrorist act).

The terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, took place on March 22 last year; the attackers opened fire on people in the building and set the hall on fire. 145 people died.

The terrorists' actions were coordinated via the Internet by members of the "Vilayat Khorasan" group, belonging to the Afghan wing of the Islamic State terrorist organization, said the director of the Russian FSB, Alexander Bortnikov.
