NATO said today that acts of sabotage committed in member states in recent years have included death threats against business leaders, including the CEO of German arms manufacturer “Rheinmetall“, Reuters reported, BTA reported.

NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Innovation, Hybrid and Cyber Technologies James Appathurai confirmed during a statement to the European Parliament about threats made against “Rheinmetall“ CEO Armin Paperger, which have so far been reported only by the media.

Acts of sabotage include “train derailments, arson, attacks on politicians' property, threats to kill business leaders, including the head of “Rheinmetall“, but there were other plots,“ Appathurai told the EP.
