The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that a large-scale nuclear incident response exercise is underway in New York, the "Daily Mail" reported, quoted by BTA.
The exercise includes military aircraft, personnel who will act out a scenario to be ready "to respond in the event of a nuclear incident in the United States or abroad".
The exercises began on Sunday, but the FBI said that the public can now see the personnel practicing outdoors. The exercises end on January 31.
