The Ukrainian military said on Monday that a Russian military command post in Kursk region was hit on Monday, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"The facility suffered significant damage, which also resulted in significant casualties among enemy personnel," the Ukrainian General Staff said on Telegram.
Reuters was unable to independently verify the statement.
Ukrinform specified that the strike was in the Novoivanovka area, Kursk region.
The agency cited the statement of the Ukrainian General Staff: "The command post, located in an abandoned building, was used to coordinate Russian offensive actions against Ukrainian defenders of the Kursk Front. As a result of the operation, the facility suffered significant damage, which led to significant losses of personnel among the enemy forces".
The Ukrainian military has reported multiple strikes on Russian military and energy facilities in recent weeks. Ukrainian forces have been fighting Russian troops in the Kursk region since Ukraine launched a cross-border operation there last year, Reuters recalls.
