US Vice President J.D. Vance will discuss economic issues and security partnership with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, he announced, quoted by Reuters, before a bilateral meeting with Von der Leyen on the sidelines of a conference on artificial intelligence in Paris, BTA reports.
Vance said that the administration of US President Donald Trump has made it clear that it is very interested in Europe. "We see that there are many economic relationships to build with Europe," Vance added.
"We also want to ensure that we are actually engaged in a security partnership that is good for both Europe and the United States," the US vice president added.
