One of the leaders of "Right Sector" in the Lviv region, Mikhail Alekseev, died in the combat zone in Ukraine. This was announced by the chairman of the committee on sovereignty of the Public Chamber of Russia, Vladimir Rogov, on his Telegram channel.

He specified that the Ukrainian with the call sign Rembrandt was killed by a drone-kamikaze in the area of ​​the village of Kamenskoye on the Stepnogorsk direction of the Zaporozhye Front.

The "Right Sector" group was formed in late November 2013. as a union of football supporters and right-wing nationalist groups: Patriot of Ukraine (Andriy Belitsky), Social-National Assembly, Trident (Dmytro Yarosh), UNA-UNSO (Yuriy Shukhevych), White Hammer (White Hammer) and Carpathian Sech.

On Friday, March 14, activist Demyan Ganul was shot dead in the center of Odessa, MP Oleksiy Goncharenko reported, and the information was confirmed by sources of RBC-Ukraine, FOCUS reported.

The police specify that law enforcement officers are currently establishing the circumstances of the murder of the man in the center of Odessa.

The message that an unknown man had shot a passerby in the Primorsky district of the city was received on a special line 102 at around 10:30 a.m. today.

The shooter fled the scene. The victim died. All circumstances of the crime are currently being established by the investigative team of the territorial police unit and forensic experts.

Measures are being taken to detain the shooter.

Demyan Ganul became known for his active participation in the events in Ukraine in 2014. A day earlier (March 13), the Strasbourg court found Ukraine guilty, for which it did not take measures to prevent the tragedy in Odessa in 2014.
