The brigades are formed! The Ukrainian army stops the creation of new combat units - 1

Ukraine stops the formation of new brigades, and efforts are currently focused on staffing and strengthening the existing units. This was announced by Colonel Pavlo Palitsa, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in an interview with the publication "Nie-Ukraine".

"The brigades that have already been formed or are in the final stage of construction will continue their training, and this process will take into account our previous experience," Palitsa specified.

Regarding the delay in the supply of weapons, he emphasized that the problem is mainly related to political will and logistics. The Ukrainian leadership is actively working to accelerate the delivery of weapons, ammunition and other necessary materials to the armed forces.

Meanwhile, information has emerged about problems with the recently formed 155th brigade "Anna Kievskaya", which was trained in France and was to be sent to the front at a critical moment in the war. The brigade had several thousand soldiers and heavy weapons provided by France, including tanks and artillery.

According to media reports, however, the brigade "disintegrated" before it even reached the front. It was nominally supposed to serve over 5,800 soldiers, which would make it one of the largest in the Ukrainian army. According to Forbes, about 1,700 soldiers deserted while the brigade was training in Ukraine, Poland and France for nine months.

The new commander of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade has created a special investigative department, which includes representatives from all battalions in which cases of desertion were registered. The department's goal is to reconstruct the events in which contact with servicemen was lost, analyze intelligence reports and establish what happened to the missing soldiers.
