Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed Ukraine's commitment to peace negotiations with Russia and the special importance of US military assistance for the security of Ukraine.

Europe will not be able to fully meet Ukraine's military needs and provide adequate security guarantees without the participation of the United States.

This is stated in its daily analysis by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Zelensky called on the West to provide Ukraine with additional Patriot air defense systems and noted that the United States has an indispensable role in supplying these systems to Ukraine.

He noted that Ukraine's allies can help rebuild Ukraine together with Ukrainian companies and that Ukraine is ready to discuss such plans in detail.

Zelensky said that he would provide U.S. President Donald Trump during their next meeting with a more detailed plan on how the United States can participate in rebuilding Ukraine and jointly extracting natural resources.

Ukraine has the largest reserves of uranium and titanium in Europe, and suggested that the West prevent these resources from falling under Russian control, the president urged.
