The Chief of Staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Ermak, met today with the US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, in Kiev, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA.
During the meeting, Ermak emphasized that the principle of "nothing for Ukraine without Ukraine" remains fundamental for all international negotiations.
According to Yermak, it is essential for Ukraine that Kellogg receives full and accurate information about the events on the front, as well as about the resilience and spirit of the Ukrainian people, which have not changed during these years of conflict.
Also, Yermak stressed that the Ukrainian government counts on the continued support of the United States and hopes that relations between the two countries will continue to develop on the basis of mutual respect and common successes.
Earlier today, President Zelensky also met with Keith Kellogg in Kiev and said that he would like the Trump team to have "more of the truth" about Ukraine, a day after the US president said that Ukraine "never should have started" the conflict with Russia, Reuters notes.
