Pope Francis wrote in his Sunday prayer "Angelus" that he continues his hospital treatment "with faith", AFP reported.
This is stated in the text of the prayer of the head of the Roman Catholic Church, who for the second consecutive week did not lead the Sunday service, AFP specifies.
"For my part, I continue my hospital treatment with faith (...), following the necessary procedures", are the words of the pope in the text of the prayer for today, written "recently", the agency added.
Francis, who is battling double pneumonia, spent a peaceful night in the hospital, the Holy See announced earlier today, quoted by Reuters.
The pope was admitted to the Roman hospital "Agostino Gemelli" on February 14 after having difficulty breathing for several days.
The Vatican yesterday described the condition of 88-year-old Francis as critical for the first time, saying that the Holy Father had needed supplemental oxygen and blood transfusions that day.
