Moscow on the London summit: Zero result. An unsuccessful attempt to save the clown's reputation after the failure in th - 1

The London summit will not restore Volodymyr Zelensky's reputation after the failed negotiations in Washington with US President Donald Trump. This opinion was expressed by the head of the international affairs committee of the Russian State Duma, the leader of the LDPR Leonid Slutsky.

"The London summit will not save the leader of the Ukronazis. The result is zero, a failed attempt to restore the clown's political reputation after the resounding failure in Washington," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Slutsky wondered whether Europe was able to fulfill its promises to support Ukraine without having the necessary resources.

The MP noted that so far the EU has only managed to "carve only a rude face that believes in the impunity shown by Zelensky in all its glory in the Oval Office" instead of the “steel porcupine“ promised by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting on the statement of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, asked who would protect Canada in the event of US expansion to the north.

The diplomat drew attention to Trudeau's words, who stated that the Canadian authorities are considering “all options for ensuring the security of Ukraine, including sending troops to this country“.

"And who will protect Canadian soil in the event of US expansion to the north? Apparently, Ukrainians who fled to Canada to escape mobilization," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia and head of the international affairs committee in the upper house of the Russian parliament, Konstantin Kosachev, criticized yesterday's summit in London for not producing any plan to settle the war in Ukraine, Reuters reported, citing his post on "Telegram", BTA reported.

According to the influential Russian MP, Kiev's only hope for the future is to improve relations between Moscow and Washington.

Kosachev called the outcome of the London meeting "a desperate attempt to declare the failure of the 10-year policy of inciting Ukraine against Russia by the same Britain and, until recently, the United States" as a success.

"Europe has no plan," he wrote. "And if Ukraine has to count on anything, it can only be on progress (if there is any) in Russian-American relations," Kosachev added.

The Russian lawmaker also said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who hosted the meeting, "cannot help but understand this."
