US President Donald Trump has urged the country to worry about domestic problems, not about his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
"We should worry less about Putin and more about the migrant gangs, rapists, drug lords, murderers and people from mental hospitals who are entering our country. So that we don't end up where Europe ended up", he wrote on the social network Truth Social.
On the day of his inauguration, January 20, Trump, in his first speech as the 47th US president, promised to immediately stop the entry of illegal immigrants into the US and begin the process of extraditing millions of migrants. He declared a state of emergency across the country due to the situation on the southern border.
