Some of US President Donald Trump's advisers are suggesting that a future Ukrainian truce agreement include a clause for Volodymyr Zelensky to resign from the presidency of Ukraine.
This was stated by a European official to Bloomberg.
According to him, Trump has "less radical views".
On March 2, US House Speaker Mike Johnson said that Ukraine should be led by another politician if Zelensky does not come to his senses and start peace talks.
On February 28, Zelensky arrived at the White House to meet with Trump. During the conversation, an argument broke out between them, during which Trump pointed out to Zelensky his disrespectful attitude towards the United States, and Vice President J. D. Vance pointed out that the Ukrainian had forgotten to thank Washington for the support it provides to Kiev.
