Iconic buildings in the Albanian capital Tirana were illuminated yesterday in the colors of the Bulgarian tricolor - white, green and red - for the fourth consecutive year on the occasion of March 3. This was stated in a press release by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tirana, BTA reported.
This year, the lighting initiative covered the buildings of the Rectorate of the University of Tirana and the University of Arts, which became a symbolic bridge between the two nations, the embassy added. The event was held with the assistance of the Municipality of Tirana, which once again demonstrates its support and empathy for the Bulgarian community and culture.
The lighting of these emblematic buildings is not just a beautiful gesture, but an expression of the deep friendship and growing cooperation between Bulgaria and Albania.
