Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal of the Reform Party has announced that she will expel the Social Democratic Party from the government over differences over tax issues, reports "Reuters". This will lead to a reduction in the ruling party's parliamentary majority, BTA reports.
“At a time when urgent decisions need to be made, we cannot endlessly go back to the basics of these decisions to revise them. Concrete steps need to be taken so that Estonia can move forward,“ Michal said at a press conference.
He added that the Reform Party and Estonia 200, which have a combined 52 seats in the 101-seat parliament, would remain in the government.
