Trump's Vice President Responds to Cousin: I've Always Thought Nate Was the Strongest Man I've Ever Known - 1

US Vice President J.D. Vance commented on his cousin Nate Vance's participation in the war in Ukraine to Fox News.

He said he had never spoken publicly about his cousin's service because "I didn't want to put his life in more danger than it already was." Vance refused to respond to his cousin's criticism of him and talked about Nate's "failed attempt" to contact him.

"I have no desire to argue with him publicly, but I feel the need to clarify one issue: his failed attempt to contact me. "I don't understand why Nate chose to contact my office in the Senate and not his mother, father or sister, who I am in regular contact with," Vance said.

The US vice president added that he "always considered Nate the strongest person I know" and that he "was always happy to talk to him." Commenting on the attacks by US President Donald Trump and Vice President Vance on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on February 28 in Washington, Nate Vance called them "an ambush imbued with absolute hypocrisy" and that Americans are "useful idiots" Putin.

Later, American volunteer Nate Vance told CNN that he witnessed the bloody tactics of the Russians on the front.

"I personally witnessed them shooting at their own soldiers. It was so frequent that it's hard to call it an isolated incident. It happened so often that you could consider it their policy if the soldiers retreated," Nate Vance said.
