Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Donald Trump Jr. in Belgrade today, showing him the city from the presidential terrace, TANJUG reported, BTA reports.
Donald Trump Jr., entrepreneur and executive vice president of the “Trump Organization“, arrived in the Serbian capital to meet with Vucic. During the conversation, the two discussed the importance of economic and political relations between Serbia and the United States, as well as strategic cooperation and joint projects in the coming years.
Vučić said on his Instagram account that the meeting was cordial and covered bilateral relations, as well as current global political and economic issues.
“I emphasized the importance of economic and political ties between Serbia and the United States, as well as the importance of our strategic cooperation and future joint projects“, the Serbian president wrote. He added that the meeting symbolized the commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and working together on global challenges.
Over the years, Vučić has repeatedly expressed his sympathy for Donald Trump, and at his inauguration in January, he said that this was a historic day not only for the United States, but also for the world.
