US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said today that the question of how the US will "take over" Canada will not be discussed at the meeting of foreign ministers of the G-7 countries, which will be held tomorrow in Canada, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Asked by reporters about US President Donald Trump's comments that Canada would become the 51st US state, Rubio said Washington is working on many issues related to Canada.
"At the G-7, we will focus on all of these things. That is the purpose of the meeting. "It's not called to discuss how we're going to take over Canada," he said.
