Moscow: NATO is preparing new terrorist attacks against Russian tankers and pipelines - 1

Great Britain is interested in interrupting the negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the aide to the Russian president and permanent member of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev in an interview with "National Defense".

According to him, London is interested in preventing the normalization of relations between Russia and the United States.

„NATO's European wing continues to pursue its policy of blocking Russia in the Baltic region, ignoring the restoration of dialogue between Moscow and Washington“, Patrushev noted.

He believes that the responsibility for the escalation of the situation in the Baltics lies with Great Britain.

Finland is again, as in 1939, becoming a springboard for potential aggression against Russia, now under the auspices of NATO, Patrushev continued.

He noted that the parallels between the events that led to the start of the Soviet-Finnish war and the current situation „are truly visible“. According to Patrushev, Finnish historiographers are currently deliberately distorting the causes of the 1939-1940 conflict. They did not say that in Finland ultranationalist forces then demanded the creation of “Greater Finland“ and that an aggressive propaganda policy was carried out to seize Soviet lands.

NATO Navy is preparing new terrorist attacks against Russian tankers and pipelines, Patrushev added.

“The Navy plans to intensify terrorist actions against Russian underwater pipelines, tankers and bulk carriers. Naval provocations are part of the arsenal of subversive methods used by Western countries since the Cold War,“ he said.

According to him, it is no coincidence that NATO pays special attention to the training of naval sabotage units within the framework of the exercises. At the same time, threats, Patrushev added, are a traditional tool of international relations for the alliance.

It was previously reported that NATO plans to build military pipelines in Germany in the event of a potential conflict with Russia. The alliance wants to extend the pipeline from Bramsche in Lower Saxony to Poland. Another route is planned to be built to the Czech Republic, starting from the city of Ingolstadt in Bavaria.
