Ukrainian air defenses have shot down 74 drones that Russian forces used to attack last night, while 38 Russian decoy drones disappeared from radar without causing damage, Ukrinform reported, citing a post on the "Telegram" social network by the Ukrainian Air Force, BTA reports.
Russia carried out a large-scale air strike, starting last night at 7:00 p.m. local time (the same as Bulgarian). The attack used an "Iskander-M" ballistic missile launched from the Kursk region, 117 "Shahed" attack drones and a number of decoy drones sent from the western and southern regions of the country.
As of 9:00 this morning, Ukraine confirmed the downing of 74 drones, including the "Shahed", over Kharkiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.
The Russian strikes caused damage in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Odessa and Zaporizhia regions.
