US President Donald Trump said he plans to talk to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.
“I think we're doing well with Russia. We'll see, maybe we'll have something to announce by Tuesday. I'll talk to President Putin on Tuesday“, the US leader told reporters on board his plane.
Trump said he intended to discuss the issue of territories during his conversation with Putin. “We'll talk about land. We're going to talk about power plants because that's a big problem," Trump said.
US President Donald Trump said he sees the chances of a successful resolution to the Ukraine crisis as very good.
“A lot of work was done over the weekend. We want to see if we can end this war. Maybe we can. Maybe we can't, but I think we have a very good chance,“ he said.
The US administration is already discussing the issue of “sharing assets” with the parties to the Ukrainian conflict, Trump added.
“But I think a lot of that has already been discussed by both sides - Ukraine and Russia. We're already talking about that, about sharing certain assets,“ he said.
