The Palestinian movement Hamas called on friendly countries to put pressure on the US authorities to stop the Israeli aggression against the residents of the Gaza Strip. This is stated in a statement published on the radical organization's Telegram channel.
„We appreciate the position taken at the Arab, Islamic and international levels, condemning and rejecting the resumption of brutal aggression by the criminal Netanyahu and his extremist government, who rejected the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip“, the document says.“We call on friendly countries that consider the Palestinian cause just to put pressure on the US administration to stop this aggression and genocidal war against defenseless civilians“, the radicals emphasized.“
On March 18, the Israeli army announced massive strikes on Hamas targets in Gaza. Netanyahu's cabinet explained this by the radicals' rejection of the proposals made during the negotiations by the mediators and the US President's special envoy, Stephen Witkoff.
