US President Donald Trump said he discussed Russian and Ukrainian demands and needs for a peace agreement in an hour-long conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky today, Reuters and the Associated Press reported, quoted by BTA.
"A large part of the discussion was based on yesterday's conversation with President (of Russia Vladimir) Putin, to coordinate the demands and needs of Russia and Ukraine", Trump wrote in a post on his social network "Truth Social".
"We are largely on the right track," Trump stressed, adding that he had asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House National Security Advisor Mike Walz to provide more details about the conversation in an upcoming statement.
